My first foray into the e-book adventure was with free e-books.net. It takes awhile to get used to being 'out there' and that was a good first step. The overhauled version of my first offering is almost not recognizable. I have 16 stories and poems offered, with different photos and original artwork by Cynthia Percy as well.
I introduce the genre of Truth-fables here - stories based on real life experiences, which are designed to entertain and instruct at the same time. We need a new vision of the future. We need to know that we are responsible for our own experiences and that we can construct joyful and positive experiences with others and with life. Joseph Campbell noted the need for a new mythology. I believe that he is right and there are archetypes offered here and in the following volumes of the series, (which are not yet in publication) which will satisfy that need.
