It is the inside that counts!

In a society that is obsessive about the outside appearance, we forget that it is the inside that truly determines our experience.  If we don't do the inner work that it takes to know ourselves and develop our inner balance, we can not expect to make any true progress in a higher evolutionary sense.  If we do the inner work, it allows us to break through and reach a better level.
The best changes in a society come from the inside not the outside and if the changes on the inside are not positive, the society is headed for trouble.
Integrity, empathy, and other values are not something one can accumulate on the outside.  They have to be cultivated from experience and developed internally, then the individual can benefit, as can everyone else that knows them.  Anyway, next time that the Media tries to convince you that you simply must wear this or use this or that beauty product, of course you can buy it, but it won't change the inside at all, and that is what really counts!

Edited to death!

So you've submitted your manuscript...you're on your way to being published, right? WRONG!  In between the completion of your manuscript, however long that may have taken, and the actual in print or on-line edition, lies the tangled barbed wire of proof-reading!  The dreaded "lay outs"!  For a creative person the drudgery of proofing word by word is death.  Once I have finished my creative work for me it is done.  I really don't want to revisit it again. The Misadventures of Count Percival are in the first layout version and I am trying desperately hard not to be "edited" to death.  I keep reminding myself that this too will pass.  On the other hand, it must be a good book if, even in the face of having to focus on spelling and grammar, I am laughing at the humour in the book.  The good news is that I am not finding any major errors, and not many minor ones.  That at least is gratifying.  Wish me luck as I preservere with finding anything that needs changing!

People Wake up!  The corporations are killing us!

We need to wake up!  With mechanization the powers that be know they don't need us anymore.  So if we don't do something now when we can, we won't be around.  I'm sure they don't want to pay out for the boomers to retire.

The Human timeline in light of new discoveries

I don't know what you were taught about pre-history, as they called it, but no where did it account for these finds.  True the Bible does have one line about "in those days there were giants in the earth" and it talks about Goliath.  But really?  Australopithicus would be squashed like a bug by some of these guys!  How do we account for them.  There are new discoveries with regard to the pyramids and the Dogon, which leave big, gaping holes in our pre-history.  It certainly started before Sumer or Egypt.  So most of what they are continuing to teach in archeology and anthropology courses is bunk, or at least seriously flawed.  None of our information accounts for where we came from and it does not take the issue of vibration into account.  String theory agrees totally with what the Dogon have to say about the origins of the universe - even the diagrams of the Dogons, done thousands of years ago are the same as the scientists have drawn!  So science has come full circle and got it right in some regards.  Now if we could only get historians to wake up....  Any thoughts?

Good stats, dire prognosis, but there is hope!

You gotta love TED Talks even when they are slightly stuck in a moment.  This guy has great stats but the fact that we are living longer is not bad.  We just don't know how to to it well yet.  There are means available but we are stuck in a "medicate the symptoms and pretend the problem will go away" medical model which is not working at any level.  Unfortunately, this fellow didn't read what Albert Einstein said about not being able to solve a problem on the same level it was created in.  Here are the problems, as I see it.
  1.  Our soils are deficient in magnesium, which is essential for many of our organ functions and for the proper storage and use of calcium in the body.  Magnesium is best taken in suspension and needs to be taken in a 4:1 ratio (4 magnesium, 1 calcium).  Doctors apparently don't know this and are urging their female patients to take calcium.  Without proper magnesium, calcium will deposit in soft tissue around the body.  Not good!  Magnesium oil in a foot bath on a regular basis will restore your proper magnesium balance.
  2. Bread on the North American continent is genetically modified.  (This is so that Monsanto can own the seed and sell their cash crop Round Up.)  We were not meant to consume genetically modified food - don't eat it!  What the body can't break down it will store as fat.  I lost weight by cutting bread out of my diet and I didn't even eat that much.  Soy and corn are also genetically modified.  Europe just banned all GMOs!
  3. Don't drink your calories!  Water is what you need to drink.  Soft drinks and juices are often sweetened with high fructose corn syrup, sometimes labelled as corn sugar.  High fructose corn syrup is processed by the body just like ethanol would be - it is a poison!  It is stored as fat and is toxic to the body.
In addition many soft drinks add salt and extra sugar to their products to make you thirstier!
  4. Aspartame was twice denied FDA approval and has admitted publicly ( so you can't sue them) that the product has been known to cause tumors.  Why are people still eating things with Aspartame in them?  I don't understand it.
  5. Proagi9 is a product which was created to restore health to blood vessels and arteries by a man who was given up as a dead man at 35 due to the desperate state of his cardio-vascular health.  He created this product and at 77 has the blood pressure and arterial health of a 19 year old.  You don't need dangerous medical drugs to be healthy as you age!
  6. Colloidal silver is an amazing help to ward off any infections or flu.  And unlike the flu shot, there is no mercury in it!  One spray in the mouth or in a glass of water and you are  done.  Simple and effective - no side effects.  Can the doctors claim that?
That is just a small sample of the things you can do to age gracefully.  I take no responsibility for people not being sane about their health when trying out anything I have suggested here.  Each person's chemistry is slightly different and if you have been on medical treatment, you can not subject you body to interruption of that regimen without consequences - so wait and be careful when making changes!  I have tried all of the above changes with excellent results but you may need something different.  But you definitely need to eat primarily fresh fruit and vegetables, safe fish and meat (if you must) or get your protein from a good source with plenty of reverse osmosis water.  The rest is not really conducive to your continued good health, so fast food it at your own risk!

Both of my great-grandmothers lived to be a healthy 98 years old.  They went to the market and enjoyed their families until the day they died and I intend to surpass them both in excellent health.  If you don't take care of yourself, I'll wave at you, sitting in your wheelchair, while I'm rollerskating by.  Hopefully you'll recognize me.  Namaste!  You are what you eat after all.
