Wx4: An Indigo's Journey

With settings from Ancient Egypt and Atlantis, to Northern Alberta and British Columbia, the characters deal with issues and resolve problems in a way that honours peace and restorative justice. The framework for the book is the promotion of a new paradigm. The poems deal with creativity, finding your passion in life, and present differing perspectives.
I remember hating not having pictures in my books and I secretly wondered whether they put them in textbooks simply to help motivate us to read them. I have many illustrations and photographs in this small compendium for all of us right brainers - and the left brainers too!
Unsolicited Assistance is one of the ten short stories in the book. It was originally offered on free e-books.net but it will likely be switched to Kobo in the near future. :) Enjoy!

Through the shadows, Draline looked up and saw someone approaching...

- A woman with a cape dressed in a blue shirt dress with matching boots and red leggings. Seriously? Draline thought. Who is this fashion miscreant? She needs help! She smiled and approached the woman. "Well! Looking for some new clothes? You've come to the right place, my dear! Come with me!".
- A woman dressed in superhero garb stood there, her hands on her hips. She gave Draline the once over and scowled. Where is my dry cleaning? She asked tersely. What do you mean? Draline began defensively. I don't even know you. Don't start with that again! The woman spat back. And so it began.
- A woman dressed oddly, obviously upset over something. Draline indicated a table and brought coffee after the woman seated herself. "What'll it be, Ma'm?" Draline asked. She adjusted the lights in the small corner cafe when she went back to the bar. The evening shadows were making the corner where the strangely clad woman was seated look eerie.
- Any votes for your fav? Paragraph one, two, or three?
Nothing like a new project to take the edge off - especially after it snowing in april!
Mateus Levi and I have a new book in the offing! The Druid and the Monk is the working title. With my Druidic leanings and Mateus' experience with Buddism, well, suffice it to say that we are super pumped about the book we started together this weekend! Stay tuned for more info....
